Why is that?<\/p>\n<p>\u5c3d\u7ba1 Windows NT \u5185\u90e8\u4f7f\u7528 UTC \u65f6\u95f4\uff0c\u4f46 BIOS \u7684\u65f6\u949f\u5374\u4ecd\u7136\u8bbe\u5b9a\u4e3a\u672c\u5730\u65f6\u95f4\uff0c\u8fd9\u662f\u4e3a\u4ec0\u4e48\u5462\uff1f<\/p>\n<p>There are a few reasons. One is a chain of backwards compatibility.<\/p>\n<p>\u539f\u56e0\u6709\u51e0\u4e2a\uff0c\u5176\u4e2d\u4e4b\u4e00\u662f\u4e00\u7cfb\u5217\u5411\u4e0b\u517c\u5bb9\u6027\u95ee\u9898\u3002<\/p>\n<p>In the early days, people often dual-booted between Windows NT and MS-DOS\/Windows 3.1. MS-DOS and Windows 3.1 operate on local time, so Windows NT followed suit so that you wouldn\u2019t have to keep changing your clock each time you changed operating systems.<\/p>\n<p>\u65e9\u5e74\u95f4\uff0c\u4eba\u4eec\u7ecf\u5e38\u5728 Windows NT \u548c MS-DOS \/ Windows 3.1 \u4e4b\u95f4\u53cc\u542f\u52a8\u3002MS-DOS \u548c Windows 3.1 \u4f7f\u7528\u672c\u5730\u65f6\u95f4\uff0c\u6240\u4ee5 Windows NT \u5ef6\u7eed\u4e86\u8fd9\u4e00\u8bbe\u8ba1\uff0c\u4ee5\u4fbf\u4f60\u6bcf\u6b21\u66f4\u6362\uff08\u542f\u52a8\u7684\uff09\u64cd\u4f5c\u7cfb\u7edf\u7684\u65f6\u5019\u4e0d\u7528\u603b\u662f\u53bb\u4fee\u6539\u65f6\u95f4\u3002<\/p>\n<p>As people upgraded from Windows NT to Windows 2000 to Windows XP, this choice of time zone had to be preserved so that people could dual-boot between their previous operating system and the new operating system.<\/p>\n<p>\u540e\u6765\u4eba\u4eec\u4ece Windows NT \u5347\u7ea7\u5230\u4e86 Windows 2000 \u76f4\u81f3 Windows XP\uff0c\u5bf9\u4e8e\u65f6\u533a\u7684\u8bbe\u5b9a\u4e5f\u9700\u8981\u88ab\u4fdd\u7559\uff0c\u4ee5\u4fbf\u4e8e\u4eba\u4eec\u53ef\u4ee5\u5728\u4ee5\u524d\u548c\u540e\u6765\u7684\u64cd\u4f5c\u7cfb\u7edf\u95f4\u8fdb\u884c\u53cc\u542f\u52a8\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Another reason for keeping the BIOS clock on local time is to avoid confusing people who set their time via the BIOS itself. If you hit the magic key during the power-on self-test, the BIOS will go into its configuration mode, and one of the things you can configure here is the time. Imagine how confusing it would be if you set the time to 3pm, and then when you started Windows, the clock read 11am.<\/p>\n<p>\u53e6\u4e00\u4e2a\u5c06 BIOS \u65f6\u949f\u8bbe\u5b9a\u4e3a\u672c\u5730\u65f6\u95f4\u7684\u539f\u56e0\u662f\u907f\u514d\u4f7f\u4eba\u4eec\u901a\u8fc7 BIOS \u8bbe\u7f6e\u7a0b\u5e8f\u8bbe\u5b9a\u65f6\u95f4\u65f6\u4ea7\u751f\u7591\u60d1\u3002\u5982\u679c\u5728\u5f00\u673a\u81ea\u68c0\u7684\u65f6\u5019\u6309\u4e0b\u76f8\u5173\u7684\u6309\u952e\uff0cBIOS \u4f1a\u8fdb\u5165\u8bbe\u7f6e\u6a21\u5f0f\uff0c\u5176\u4e2d\u4e00\u9879\u53ef\u4ee5\u8fdb\u884c\u8bbe\u7f6e\u7684\u5c31\u662f\u5f53\u524d\u65f6\u95f4\u3002\u60f3\u8c61\u4e00\u4e0b\u5982\u679c\u4f60\u628a\u65f6\u95f4\u8bbe\u7f6e\u4e3a\u4e0b\u53483\u70b9\uff0c\u7b49\u8fdb\u4e86 Windows \u65f6\u5374\u53d1\u73b0\u65f6\u95f4\u53d8\u6210\u4e86\u65e9\u4e0a11\u70b9\u7684\u611f\u89c9\u3002<\/p>\n<p>\u201cStupid computer. Why did it even ask me to change the time if it\u2019s going to screw it up and make me change it a second time?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u300e\u7535\u8111\u8fd9\u73a9\u610f\u7b80\u76f4\u592a\u8822\u4e86\uff0c\u65e2\u7136\u5b83\u53c8\u4f1a\u628a\u65f6\u95f4\u8bbe\u7f6e\u641e\u4e71\u518d\u8ba9\u6211\u53bb\u4fee\u6539\u7b2c\u4e8c\u6b21\uff0c\u90a3\u4ece\u4e00\u5f00\u59cb\u4e3a\u5565\u8981\u8ba9\u6211\u53bb\u6539\u5440\uff1f\u300f<\/p>\n<p>And if you explain to them, \u201cNo, you see, that time was UTC, not local time,\u201d the response is likely to be \u201cWhat kind of totally propeller-headed nonsense is that? You\u2019re telling me that when the computer asks me what time it is, I have to tell it what time it is in London? (Except during the summer in the northern hemisphere, when I have to tell it what time it is in Reykjavik!?) Why do I have to remember my time zone and manually subtract four hours? Or is it five during the summer? Or maybe I have to add. Why do I even have to think about this? Stupid Microsoft. My watch says three o\u2019clock. I type three o\u2019clock. End of story.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u8fd9\u65f6\u5019\u5982\u679c\u4f60\u50cf\u8fd9\u7c7b\u4eba\u53bb\u89e3\u91ca\uff1a\u300e\u4e0d\u662f\u7684\uff0c\u90a3\u4e2a\u65f6\u95f4\u662f UTC \u65f6\u95f4\uff0c\u4e0d\u662f\u672c\u5730\u65f6\u95f4\u300f\uff0c\u5f88\u53ef\u80fd\u4f1a\u88ab\u56de\u51fb\u300e\u90a3\u53c8\u662f\u4ed6\u55b5\u7684\u4ec0\u4e48\u9b3c\u4e1c\u897f\uff1f\u4f60\u662f\u8bf4\u7535\u8111\u8ba9\u6211\u8bbe\u7f6e\u65f6\u95f4\u7684\u65f6\u5019\uff0c\u6211\u5f97\u628a\u4f26\u6566\u65f6\u95f4\u7ed9\u8f93\u8fdb\u53bb\uff1f\uff08\u9664\u4e86\u5317\u534a\u7403\u590f\u5b63\u7684\u65f6\u5019\uff0c\u90a3\u5c31\u5f97\u8f93\u5165\u96f7\u514b\u96c5\u672a\u514b\u7684\u65f6\u95f4\u4e86\uff01\uff1f\uff09\u51ed\u4ec0\u4e48\u6211\u5f97\u8bb0\u4f4f\u6211\u6240\u5728\u7684\u65f6\u533a\uff0c\u7136\u540e\u624b\u5de5\u51cf\u53bb\u56db\u4e2a\u5c0f\u65f6\uff0c\u6216\u8005\u590f\u4ee4\u65f6\u7684\u65f6\u5019\u5f97\u51cf\u4e94\u4e2a\u5c0f\u65f6\uff1f\u54e6\uff0c\u6709\u65f6\u5019\u8fd8\u5f97\u7528\u52a0\u7684\uff0c\u4e3a\u4ec0\u4e48\u6211\u975e\u5f97\u505a\u8fd9\u4e9b\u4e8b\u4e0d\u53ef\u554a\uff1f\u50bb\u00d7\u5fae\u8f6f\uff0c\u6211\u7684\u624b\u8868\u8bf4\u73b0\u5728\u662f\u4e09\u70b9\uff0c\u6211\u5c31\u8f93\u5165\u4e09\u70b9\uff0c\u5b8c\u4e8b\u3002\u300f<\/p>\n<p>(What\u2019s more, some BIOSes have alarm clocks built in, where you can program them to have the computer turn itself on at a particular time.
