Where did that name come from?<\/p>\n<p>Windows \u7684\u9519\u8bef\u62a5\u544a\u529f\u80fd\u6709\u4e2a\u6635\u79f0\u53eb\u300eDr. Watson\u300f\uff08\u534e\u751f\u535a\u58eb\uff09\uff0c\u8fd9\u4e2a\u540d\u5b57\u662f\u4ece\u54ea\u6765\u7684\u5462\uff1f<\/p>\n<p>As you have probably guessed, The name Dr. Watson was inspired by the character of Dr. Watson, the assistant to Sherlock Holmes in the stories by Arthur Conan Doyle.<\/p>\n<p>\u5982\u4f60\u6240\u60f3\uff0c\u300e\u534e\u751f\u535a\u58eb\u300f\u8fd9\u4e2a\u540d\u5b57\u662f\u53d7\u4e9a\u745f\u00b7\u67ef\u5357\u9053\u5c14\u7b14\u4e0b\u7684\u590f\u6d1b\u514b\u00b7\u798f\u5c14\u6469\u65af\u7684\u52a9\u624b\u534e\u751f\u535a\u58eb\u542f\u53d1\u800c\u8d77\u7684\u3002<\/p>\n<p>It is my understanding that the doctor was originally developed as part of Windows 3.0 beta testing. His job was to record data about application crashes to a file, so that the file could be uploaded and included with bug reports. The icon was (and continues to be) a friendly doctor using his stethoscope to investigate a problem.<\/p>\n<p>\u636e\u6211\u6240\u4e86\u89e3\uff0cDr. Watson \u539f\u672c\u662f\u4f5c\u4e3a Windows 3.0 \u7684 beta \u6d4b\u8bd5\u5de5\u5177\u88ab\u5f00\u53d1\u51fa\u6765\u7684\uff0c\u5176\u5de5\u4f5c\u662f\u5c06\u5d29\u6e83\u7684\u5e94\u7528\u7a0b\u5e8f\u7684\u6570\u636e\u8bb0\u5f55\u5230\u6587\u4ef6\uff0c\u4ee5\u4fbf\u5c06\u5176\u5d4c\u5165\u5230bug\u62a5\u544a\u4e2d\u8fdb\u884c\u4e0a\u4f20\u3002Dr. Watson \u7684\u56fe\u6807\u66fe\u7ecf\uff08\u5e76\u4e14\u81f3\u4eca\u5982\u6b64\uff09\u662f\u4e00\u4f4d\u7528\u542c\u8bca\u5668\u5728\u8c03\u67e5\u95ee\u9898\u7684\u3001\u548c\u5584\u7684\u535a\u58eb\u3002<\/p>\n<p>The Doctor has remained true to the \u201ccapture information about an error\u201d aspect of his job. In the meantime, the word \u201cWatson\u201d has expanded its meaning to encompass anonymous end-user feedback mechanisms in general, such as \u201cContent Watson\u201d.
